My L99 is ready for a new home(s). There are a couple possibilities:
1. Sell the whole thing to one of you guys
2. Keep some parts for myself, sell some parts off it to you guys, sell the rest to one of those places that picks up a junk car and gives you cash.
I wanted to see if any of you had any interest in the car or parts off it first.
It has ~180k on it.
It's complete and reliable but unfortunately rotted out underneath. We bought it new and it's been a very good car.
The good: motor, tranny, glass, rear end (2.93) trunk lid, hood, doors, seats, tailights, headlights, etc. Most everything is good except what is listed under "the bad".
The bad: rotted floors, junk tires, wheels are rusty power antenna doesn't work. RF fender is serviceable but has a dent, LF fender is dented pretty good and is not worth taking probably. LR quarter rotted out. There is something wrong with white plastic module under the speedo that keeps the speedo from displaying speed and miles. It keeps track, but does not display most of the time.
Depending which way this goes, I may keep some parts off it. I will probably keep at least the drivers side mirror assy to replace the one on the FWB.
I can email pics of anything you're interested in. If there is a decent amount of interest I'll make a list of parts and prices.
