| Hello guys. I just installed a complete rear end from a 95 9C1 into my 1984 Impala. (In fact I installed the complete front/rear suspension into it). As suspected it went in without any issues. However I can't seem to find a set of emergency brake cables that will work. I though I could simply install a set for a 95 9C1...but they are too long. Anyone run into this problem? And if yes what was your solution?

| I'll take some of those blue interior parts you have from Andrew for an answer to your question  JK. Matt (1984twodoor) I believe would have your answer. As he is installing an ss rear into his 87 restoration. It might be in his thread. But, why bother search, right?? | |

| Yes its adjusted all the way...the difference in length is over half a foot not something that could be compensated by adjustment.
I did try the search function...and it did not turn up anything of value. That's why I then asked the question. I don't know about other people on here, but time is not something that I have an abundance of...this is why I find it best to ask a direct question and hope for a direct answer.

Hang tight & he'll help I know I figured I could just use the cables like he did. Now we are both searching I guess. I really wasn't concerned with cables at this point in time. I really just need body on frame and frame completion before the little $hit starts. Back from vaca now btw | |

| Well, I figured it out. You need to get the "link" from the newer car. In my case I used one from a 95 Buick Roadmaster. I don't have any pictures yet, however I will get some and post them. In the end, all of the parts from the 94 to 96 9C1/SS swapped over just fine. | |
