| I have an 86 caprice wagon I bought about a month ago it needed reverse lights after I put them in I noticed that the reverse lights don't work but they work when you shift from park to reverse and reverse to park hmm kinda weird ant suggestions or ideas? | |

| If you mean the lights only illuminate if you first shift to R and then back to P you probably have a misaligned reverse light switch on the bottom of the column. If you mean you only have lights when shifting into R, then you got bigger problems than a reverse light  | |

| It's an easy fix, especially if you just replace the switch instead of trying to Mickey mouse it to work.
It's also the same fix for that old "put the car in R and lift up on the shifter to get lights" issue. | |
