The mufflers arrived in the mail today. I looked up the part number on the box and it went to a Summit page, Jones Exhaust Full Boar Flow Deflector Performance Mufflers FB2543 (Link). Looking up the brand on YouTube it seems they do alot of stuff for Mopars. Summit sells these for $51.95. I bought them as the Summit brand for $29.95 (Link). They will be installed on Saturday and I'll post up a video.

Are they chambered, straight through, or turbo style? Let us know how you like em. First I saw of this thread, sorry!

They are fully welded chambered mufflers.
"Made with a 16-gauge aluminized outer shell, baffles, end caps, and necks, they are 100 percent MIG-welded for extra durability."
"Internal Construction:Chambered"
I'll let you guys know. I'm not too picky so I'm sure I'll like them . Can't go wrong for $29 each.

Got the mufflers installed today for the low price of $0. It pays to be in the automotive business. The local Meineke is a customer of mine. I hooked them up with some wheel weights and flat repair supplies the other day so the owner hooked me up with my muffler installation. He did a real nice job and ill take some pics when I get it back on the lift.
The car is quieter at idle now that it doesn't have huge holes in the mufflers. It does sound nice from the back of the car. In park, it's a bit raspy when you rev it but that doesn't bother me. Open the throttle on the road and its significantly louder than stock but not obnoxious. I drove to Rhode Island and back and didnt hear any drone. With better back pressure the seat of the pants feel has improved. I'll do a video tomorrow.
Bottom line, for 29.95 each they do a great job of making the car sound muscular and give you some seat of the pants feel.

Cool. Glad you like them! You still got cats?
EVERY time I did exhaust in a fleetwood, it was a drone machine. Even the Summit Turbos on stock pipes droned a bit.

Aftermarket exhaust without drone, what's that? I have a hooker cat back system in my 9C1 with a real nice drone at cruising speed.

This is on the Roadmaster wagon. I still have cats and resonators. Maybe I don't know what drone is or maybe I just don't care lol. But there was not terrible humming noise? I don't know, I could run open headers on a daily driver and be content lol..

I haven't had any real (unexpected) drone issues with a wagon or an impala/caprice sedan. Just the fleetwoods. Weird.

I have the resonators cut off pointing towards the quarters on the Fleetwood and it drones lol. When I lowered it, it got worse.

I've never been up to speed on drone, but I think it's a strong reverberation in the car that makes you want to throw up right? I figured the SS would be like that but it's not, I love the exhaust on that thing. The pipes go straight out the back so the sound is directed away from the car. It has an H-pipe/crossover pipe (?) too, don't know if that helps cut down on drone? When you're in it you can tell it does not have stock exhaust of course, but I have no problems driving it, and I'm one of those people who gets dizzy from stuff like reading in a moving car or people listening to dubstep, so it gets my seal of approval...

The 9c1 rattles bad against the body. I'll need to fix it soon.

This one hits the hitch on the passenger side. It only vibrates at idle. I think I need to fix the hanger.
On another note, I went outside with a bucket of water and some 180 grit and wet sanded the tail pipes. Nice and shiny now.
