| I thought I could just mod this one but apparently Joel (sherlock9c1) says it's a bad idea and I should buy some expensive kit and a $200 reaming tool to mod it. No thanks.
I am looking for a used 1994 transmission. I have a 1995 transmission for trade. 4l60e. It's getting close to crunch time I need my winter beater on the road.

| If you wanna sell it back I got no issue with that. HOWEVER Tim you COULD find a 95 computer and just add the single TCC wire from the PCM to the trans plug. I have the complete PCM pin out and can probably guide you through it. I dont know wha $200 kit your guy is talking about seems unneccessary. $.02 | |

| If I could find a 95 computer (CHEAP, or I have an extra to trade for stock 95 computer, could be used for programming not sure what's on it) I would add the extra wire. I need this trans in asap. | |

| I'll keep an eye out. Check CL for parting out caprices. Or if anyone programs obd1 they can change the 94 base code to a 95 (I believe) | |

| I did need one, found a builder that I happened to work with Sorry, no 94's here. The wiring and PCM sounds like the way to go in your case. From the sticky on the SS forum: "An additional wire must be run from the PCM connector D pin 6 to pin "U" on the trans harness for the TCC to work. Also, the PCM must be reprogrammed with ’95 transmission base code" | |
