| 17 page article on how the 1991 B body design came to be, along with background info and lots of pics including the clay model.

| Very cool! Thanks for posting that man. I just hope he wasn't responsible for the whole "lets put a fiberglass blanket right where ones hand will be when pulling out the dizzy!" | |

| This is great, a very interesting read and a must see for anyone who has had one of these cars. I read the whole thing in one sitting and while lengthy I definitely wasn't bored. Kinda gives you a new respect for the car knowing the odds they were up against in making the plan work in the end. | |

| It is interesting to see how they designed a radically different car to fit on the existing platform. Also interesting to see that the SS was inspired by a wagon | |

| AMAZING article indeed! I figured some of the folks here would enjoy that read. I wish it could've gone more in depth and spoke with those responsible for the 1993, 1994, and 1995 design change choices. Someone needs to get onboard with Jon Moss for a similar article on the SS prototype and subsequent release of the retail 94 SS and changes made for 95 and 96. Should be complete with any and all historic literature and artistic renderings. | |
