| Falkens from Discount tire direct. It said they were currently out of them. https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS488US488&q=Falken+Ziex+S/TZ-01+255/50/17&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&biw=1280&bih=909&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=Yj0HUNnVKuSM0QGx1M3vCA | |

| Since posting, I've done a lot of searching. I've come up with no actual answer.
The link above provided no information other than a tire size, and brand.
I've read guys running 275 in the rear, all around, 245, 255, 285?????
Confusing. Right now I've got 235/50/17 on stock ss rims I bought from Jim.
I have new 17x8 (4.5" bs/zero offset) for the front Which is 9" edge to edge
And
For the rear, I've got 17x9.5 (5" bs)
I ordered the wider rim/ back spacing for the rear ( based on the stores mathematics and experience ) to compensate for the 9c1 rear end retardedness. Should have just swapped in a rear from an ss. But nonetheless, that's not the point.
I read that mike used 245 front and 275 rear. That's nice, but it doesn't help when you don't reply to pm's dammit!!!!
245/55 is 27.6" tall/9.6" wide
275/50 is 28.9" tall/10.8" wide
Stock ss 255/50 is 27.1" tall/10" wide
Stock 9c1 tires/rims are 225/70/15 is 27.4" tall/8.9" wide
The 235/50 on now are only 26" tall/9.3" wide and look ok.
Do I have to run staggered tires with staggered rims? I know it's not much of a difference with the rims i have, but the 9c1 rear end is stressing me the f out.
Pics would help too. I just don't want to waste my money. I was considering just swapping the tires from the ss rims to new ones at town fair, but they are blazzaks....
I'm certain I'm making this harder than it needs to be.

| 275/40 rear and 245/45 in the front. I just got a pair of 275/40/18 Nitto NT-01's from Discount tire direct for like $130 a tire. Supposed to be nice tires.
I've also had good luck with the General Exclaim UHP tires on the Marshmallow. I liked em. Wore well, good at AutoX and at the strip, great in the rain, awesome in the dry, quiet, cheap... Couldn't ask for more!

| I wouldnt go any more narrow than a 255. I would run 255 45 front 285 40 rear. Or 275 40 all around. | |

| I ran 245/45 front and 275/40 rear on my old wagon. Just remember when Picking a tire, your more likely to create a "pull" of the tire is directional. They feel out the roads much more than a regular tire. I'd be looking for a tire that had "mount this side out" rather than left or right. I've had good luck with different types of Kuhmos, for the price they do alright. | |

I believe the rating was 50k miles? I can double check. But, I rarely drive the car. Not really an issue.
