| i had some doubts too as the trunk is not original but the door decal has the correct tire size, the console mounts are factory spot welded and then i ran the vin on the comp nine decoder and it is an ss.i put 2000 impala seats in as the original fronts are torn up[still have them]i needed the console for my 95 imp.i have since obtained a partial console and shifter from a 96. | |

| Those seats look awesome! Kind of have a little of the bolstering effect of the Bonneville seats, but seem wider? | |

| i wanted to try this for a while-leather power, heated seats 100.00 for the pair at the jy.the 96 tracks bolt right up-well almost.you have to install 3/8 inch spacer between the track and seat.also, because the 99-2005? seats sit lower, you have to trim 3/4 or more from the skirt.easily done.although these seats are power-heated,while at the jy i picked up a set of non power seat skirts-they pop off after removing front plastic clip, rear philips screw and the tilt mech.handle comes off after removing the u-clip[same clip used on the handle of roll-up windows]pull clip down.the non power skirts will need a hole for the lumbar knob on drivers side although i had not got to that yet.the color is exact and the pattern is close with the 96.i tried to find black but not an option except on fwd ss models and even then,i believe the pattern changed-but try to find ss seats from any year at the local jy for 100.00.i have some picts posted on another ss site.oh ya,the head rests are the open type-KIND OF LOOK SPORTY AND TAKE THE PLACE OF THE MISSING LOGO EMBOSSED HEADRESTS FROM 96-ps,i have a perfect set located at a brockton jy but they want 130.00.if anyone tries this swap, ditch the oem seat tracks[but save the wiring and relays for the heat option. | |

| ive had it for 3 weeks.the shady dude i bought it from lied or at least hid the truth.it needed a flywheel and when i started to unbolt the tranny i saw the cracked housing and some under carriage scrapes so i put 2+2 and this is what musta happened.also engine has erratic idle, hood dented, rot in lower 25s,starter drive on its way out...blah blah blah.it does have some pluses though-working power doors and door panels, floor and trunk nice, posi disc rear[oh,the pinion seal is leaking]anyway it has potential and is a real ss .oh,salvage title from 1997-have the car fax thanks to bladerunner. | |

| Ah. I see now. It's definitely worth the $ with what we know it needs. If I was in the market for another B, I'd buy this. Best color too. Dggm ftw. Good luck with the sale. If not, I'm positive we can help you fix it the first time, correctly, and budget friendly. | |
