Anyone have a Impala with stock springs (not an early '94)?

Could you take a measurement from the ground to the front fender and tell me what size tires you have?

Thanks

I have that in my desk @ work.
Measured the 96 before playing with fronts.
Will post up in a couple hours.

This was before I ever touched the car.
I always thought the car looked lower then "stock" but I eventually pulled the front springs & they had the factory tags.
Had just pulled into the shop & measured.
Front 27-1/8
Rear 26-1/2

Edit: Stock impala wheels & tires

The Impala is at 26-5/8" front with the Moog 5662 and stock tires. 27" in the rear with stock springs.

The 9C1 is at 25-1/8" front with Sprint springs and 275/40-17s. 24-1/2" at the rear with the Sprints. The 9C1 trim may be a little different.

From the big forum spreadsheet the Moogs should have be 1.82" lower.

Thanks

Just to get a laugh, I'll post up my 9C1 measurements tomorrow.

I'm gonna guess somewhere around 24F/25-ishR.

Stock SS cut 1 coil/suspension techniques.

I have not had the time and effort to swap in the Moog Z28 springs. Gonna need a hand. Which may be taken care of.

I've got 24.5" front and 25.5 rear. That's with SS wheels and the 225/55/17 blizzaks.

Looks like Joe got the last "Amazon" pair. They have some from other vendors for more money. Shop around, everyone has these springs.

The wire diameter is thicker on the Moogs. If I remember I'll measure them when I do the other side tomorrow.

It's still a huge difference between sitting on your bump stops or not. Been there.

The 5662 is the lowest I'm ready to go. Anything higher looks ridiculous, anything lower, well it'll look good.

But let's face it. Function over form here.

There's a close up of the SS here:

Tom, 25-3/8 up front with 275/40-17, Moogs up front and Sprints in the rear. I think the car settled a bit from the measurement above with the Sprints in front. I'm sure it did 'cause my camber increased a bit too. Sorry, the camera battery died.
