| my buddy bought a house, turns out the previous owner was into racing sprints and midgets. In the attick over the garage he found many, many parts left over from many many years ago. Including 2 sesco engines. One intact the other dismantled. He started doing research and posted an add on a forum called "the hamb". People from around the country are begging him to sell and are throwing all kinds of numbers. One dude said he'd pay 10g's for one motor. Any thoughts? | |

Sell it, it's a dated mod. yeah. Did research. Hes going to sell everything as a "whole". Take the money and run (seeing is his project is a 6.0l jeep). The engines are interesting but nothing that belongs here!!

| He's got a Sesco 4 cylinder? Does it look like this? http://www.museumofamericanspeed.com/SESCO-V-4-Midget-Racing,18512.html or this: http://www.museumofamericanspeed.com/SESCO-%C2%BD-Chevy-283-Midget-Racing,18511.html might be worth more than they're offering. Is this the ad? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=651985&highlight=sesco | |

You may want to put that on the Samba too. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/ its the flat four (boxer style). One is almost intact the other looks like it thru a rod. All the parts are there to put it back together.
