| The PPV has a 4" longer wheelbase and a 8" longer overall length compared to the G8. So its larger, but not by much. They are both based off the Zeta platform thou. I can't wait til these start showing up at auction for cheap. Couple already have on Ebay.
I also find it curious they moved the window and mirror controls to the center console on the detective package. Would seem easier and cheaper to just leave them on the doors for the Patrol and Detective packages.

| That's what I thought, but it looks SMALL! Like the size of my wife's Malibu. Must just be the way it's styled makes my brain think "Cruze." | |

| Yeah. So? That prompted me to go over there and look when I had a chance... One of them was a W-body with a light bar. So I took you some pics. You mad, brah? | |

| They didn't actually move the switches "to" the center console, I think the G8 had them there too, the police sedan has them moved to the doors since they'd be "in the way" I guess. The car is essentially the same as the G8 from the B-pillar forward aside from the grille and other little items.
What is the deal with these things? I know a civilian isn't supposed to purchase the car, but is this dealer sidestepping that? A couple of them did early on in the production down south and there was a big to-do about it. Personally I think a car sold ONLY for police duty is dumb, since it pretty much declares the surreptitious undercover aspect of the detective version completely null and void!

| I am glad to see GM going forward with the Caprice and new Camaro, instead of just showing a show car that does not make it to the show room as they have done in the past. You go GM. |
