Right now 1-2 shift takes about 0.68 - 0.7 seconds and I'd like to see .3 taken off that time before drag day. What kit can I get that speeds up only 1-2 shift? 2-3, as well as 3-4 are quick enough and don't need any modification.

If you already have a trans that has higher mileage on it, & has a long 1-2 shift you might be out of luck. If the band is already cooked your going to have a up-hill battle. A shift-kit should help, as well as bringing up the line pressure (which can be achieved several ways), a trans flush is a good idea too. As far as servos go you need at least the Corvette servo. |

Al, Trans has 119k on it, has increased line pressure through a tune. 4.11s help take the load off it a bit. 2-3 and 3-4 shift great but it's just my 1-2. Car has the vette servo in it. I was just thinking of shimming the spring in the 1-2 accumulator to acheive a quicker shift. Ideally I'd like to have it done for drag day

Replace the trans with one that doesn't have 120k.

Ok gotcha. So let me ask you this...does removing accumulation hurt the transmission/hard parts? Am I going to be damaging anything @ part throttle with accumulation deleted altogether? I think I remember reading it's simply put there in the first place so the customer has an 'enjoyable' shift.
