PostSubject: 1996 Chevy Caprice Aspen Green Metallic   Sat Apr 04, 2009 12:58 pm

It has been a good ride, but it is time to sell.

Background:
I purchased this vehicle in May of 2006, crashed her in 2007 and had her fully repainted in 2007.

Upon original purchase in New Jersey the transmission was on it's way out and was fully gone after the 1,000+ mile trip to Rhode Island. The transmission was replaced with a CPT Level 1 and an 3000 RPM Stall Street Edge converter.

I have done many modifications: LTCC, PCMforless OBD II programming, 3.73 & Eaton Limited Slip Differential, Z28 Cluster, Meziere Electric Water pump, Racetronix fuel pump, Hooker 2.5" cat-back, Dynotech 3.5" MMX Driveshaft, C5 Rear brakes...

Basics: Tan leather interior, 12-way Bonneville seats, Blazer center console with molded 12-way controller, black carpet, short style blazer overhead console(needs to be wired), Kenwood KDC-X590 deck(the display blinks in and out of displaying information) with factory infinity speakers(Jeep Cherokee) sirius satellite radio wired in and working. Ice cold Air Conditioning(recharged as of 8/01/09).

The car currently has 17" C5 wheels(painted gunmetal gray) affixed and a set of 18" C5 wheels awaiting powercoating.

The vehicle was painted & repaired locally on January 2008 by a reputable shop with a total bill of approximately $5,000(receipt in hand).

The only thing the car needs to be perfect is the purchase and install of 4 Oxygen Sensors, which is less than $200 in parts.

I am asking $4,300.00* for the car along with any and all extra parts for the car(Spare PCM, 18" C5 rims...).

My cellular telephone number is 401-996-3666 and my home zip code is 02860.

*I will only take Best Reasonable Offers.

As of 8/1/09, The SS Springs and PPM Front-end rebuild kit have been installed and so has a working Air Conditioning System

I just need a change of pace and a jumpstart on getting debt free. I WILL be back in a B/D body but not anytime soon. I will stay current with the forums though.

Jesus Christ, is that a DeLorean on the lift in the background? Now that would be fun project to shove a V8 into. If you could get it up to 88 mph you should see some serious shit. cheers

I'm still wondering why I haven't gotten to see this car since the rebuild scratch

172,000 on the body/motor and 30,000 on the transmission.

Brad those are just spray painted c5 wheels for the winter.

Also it's been off the road since september so that is half of the reason why you haven't seen it.
