Big thanks to Matt, Crovo and Rich for coming by and giving me a hand today. We got my gearbox off and a few other things. I'd have never gotten the motivation without these guys. Ya'll r the bestest.

I didn't get that many pics, but here are a few:

Looks like you guys had fun. Me and Anthony did the same thing yesterday. Did you get the LTZ fixed Bill? What were you guys doing to Rich's car?

Geez... What's that under Rich's car? A beached whale???? rabbit

It was a good time. I'm surprised how easy it all came apart. If we'd had a replacement box, you coulda been driving it today!

So who's got a spare 9C1 box for Billy??? Very Happy

We got a good jump on the work. Steering box has been removed and a few other minor things got done.

Rich was replacing the tensioner on his Impala because the belt was wicked loose and the power steering was cutting out.

No kidding. It really was simpler than I thought. I had a thought though, maybe we should have marked the pitman arms relation to the centerlink or gearbox. Cuz I haven't the slightest clue how I'm gonna line up the new gearbox.

Yea that' what I was thinking too. I'm gonna send him a PM. Thanks.

Yea we definately did get lucky. It rained like a mofo all the way till 10:15 or so, just before Bill and Matt showed up. Almost as soon as everyone left, the rain started coming down again.

Thanks again guys.

The wheels were straight and the steering wheel was straight. The Pitman Arm looked to be parallel to the wheels/frame. That should get us close enough, but you'll most likely need an alignment afterwards.

Hopefully the donor car will have its box pulled with the wheels straight too... cherry
