| Well the son stopped int today to put his Caprice into storage, as usual she needs some work. Tranny has started to slip so we will deal with that this winter. The only other repair needed is the "cruiser control lever" on the column has broken. Don't believe the job can be that hard but before I take the wheel off and jump into it I need to find the lever. Does anyone out there have a cruise control/turn signal lever assembly that they want to sell? My thanks. Larry | |

| The lever is broken or the directional mechanism? Because that lever just 1/4 or 1/2 turns & draws right out like butter with the plug under the little plastic door Dont know if you needed to know that but when you said take the wheel off I questioned the job | |

| Glen, please let me know if you have an assembly for sure as I could really use it! Secondly, I have never changed one so the advise is well taken. The handle actually broke off, you can reach in a tad and move the remaining portion so you have turn signals, of course no wipers. So that has to come out and a new one installed. Larry | |

| They do also sell these new at Autozone in the "help" section, also, you can get them on Ebay for like $20. In case Glen doesn't have one (thou that would surprise me ) | |
