| I figured I'd post this- This isn't a car I found online, it's one I've seen tooting around over the past few years in the Malden/Melrose are. The car is a black w/beige interior 1990 Caprice 9c1. I tend to believe the car is a genuine 9c1 by looking at the thing. There is almost no trim on the car, it's all black, blackwall tires, base-model bumpers, says "CAPRICE" instead of Caprice Classic. Seems to have the larger bolt pattern wheels and bigger tires, sway bar underneath, etc. It has incorrect dog dish hubcaps from a 1970s/80s C10 pickup on it, has some surface rust bubbling here and there (so who knows what's going on underneath). Whoever owned it put deal exhaust with quad bowtie shaped exhaust tips on it. I think it even has a spotlight still on there. The sign in the window said "1990 Chevy Caprice Police Package 2,000 or best offer". I don't know what these things are worth. It's parked in a gas station in Malden on Salem St. on the corner of Clark St. It's called "Pro-Tech", 206 Salem St. It is parked where the Saturn wagon is in this Google Street View: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=salem+st.+malden+gas+station&ie=UTF8&hq=gas+station&hnear=Salem+St,+Malden,+Massachusetts&ll=42.429926,-71.060206&spn=0.027305,0.055189&z=14&layer=c&cbll=42.429861,-71.060344&panoid=sqRT0bNgrBWhVhHCRdMljA&cbp=12,16.15,,1,-1.68 The car is unregistered with no plates. I didn't have time to get out and look at it, nor will I in the future, and I don't have pictures (I'm still getting my internet situation sorted out). Anyway, the number on it (I think) was 781-219-8592. Try it if you want. I normally wouldn't post a number online, but the dude's trying to sell the car, figure he shouldn't care. I have no clue who this person is, if the car is a POS or not, I just don't want any interested parties giving me crap because I never told them about the boxy 9c1 for sale. lol If you're in the area, drive by and take a look I guess. | |

With work and other stuff going on this is hell week for me and I basically only have a few mins. each day at a library miles from my house to check my email and crap, lol. It just sucks I can't upload pics from this computer, I am all about good pictures!

Good to hear, it's for the best! I'd like to hear what any issues with it were, was it rotted to death? There were cars parked on each side when I saw it.

| There wasnt a good panel on it. Rust almost thru the roof. Top of the 1/4 at the antenna Sheet metal pop-riveted patches on drivers side front & rear Door dings about 8 inches long (vertically) Repaint went on THICK & runs were nasty Didnt bother asking someone to pop the trunk Looked like the backseat was the trash barrel Interior was beat. Frame was crusty but still looked solid enough Didnt check many angles due to overall condition & Glen was looking for a body Car is worth whatever the Lous custom exhaust is worth to you (flowmasters) It DID have a 7 in the VIN 7th digit
