| I'm not going to name names, its no one on here, but just until the situation becomes clearer I'm going to avoid saying who. Anyways, about 2 weeks ago I shipped out my 9C1 cluster and pigtails to a well known person on Longroof. He said after he gets it it'll be a two week turn around. He received the cluster on 9/19 as well as payment to do the work. As of today, he has yet to log in to Longroof, return my emails or phone calls. I am growing concerned, as I have a little over a hundred bucks invested here. I sent a couple emails out to some Admins at LR so maybe someone knows something. I don't want to call the guy out in case he is just legitimately busy/ some other circumstance to where he can't return my calls. But my patience is wearing thin. What should I do? You got pm | |

| You'd spend more than $100 on gas to drive there...
Why would some so called "well known" person just steal $100 and run away? Doesn't seem like enough money to motive anyone to do that....

I'm having it bench tested to make sure it works and having a new harness made so its compatible with my car, since the 9C1 cluster has two pigtails and my car only has one. - Fishah wrote:

Which is why I don't want to say I got burnt, or who he is until I know the whole story as calling someone a scammer is a BIG deal and its not something I want to do until I know for sure.

| I'm sure he'll come through. He's a good guy and has always been reliable for the community. Something probably came up on his end. I wouldn't worry too much just yet... | |

| Hmm, sounds more like a serious personal issue on his side, like family/self illness or death. There are times when I have $500 worth of peoples money before I do a big part ship-out, and if my mother died or fell ill, that would be my last worry... Though i would likely find 2 minutes to post on LR that there was a family issue and would be in touch later
$100 is not enough for a well known dude to run... Hell, I'm not even that well known and I'd need at least $137

I am relaxed. Like I said, the only reason I was concerned is that I hadn't heard from him since 9/14.

| Justin, besides the value of the cluster, did you pay him for the job?

Tom Yep. $60 for the harness and return shipping plus the initial $15 to send it to him. So so far i'm out $75, not including the $100 I paid for the cluster.
