| They pop up on CL from time to time if no one here has any available- Are you putting them on the box? The SS wheels are 5x5 bolt pattern...while most 77-90 were 5 x 4.75 except for wagons and police packages, couldn't remember if you changed the bolt pattern or not on your car | |

| Matt Trakker- rear has been changed to 5x5, I would still need to get front spinles/ hubs. 96slowss- how much would you want; or trade for some nitrous stuff How do you guys think that would look on my car? | |

| You really don't want to do it. Those wheels weigh the most of any b-body wheels ever made. It would kill alot of your performance on the track. That's why the SS guys run different wheels down the strip. My suggestion is get the rear axles converted to 5x4-3/4 and run some aluminum rims. Moser will repattern their cappy/impala axles for free if you decide you need stronger axles with the correct pattern. Then you'll have a nice 30 spline axle in an 8.5 housing with the 5x4-3/4 pattern for about $220. I have a set of aluminum z28 wheels I was going to run that I'll part with cheap. They weigh next to nothing. Last time I moved them Laura carried 2 of them at once. Unsprung weight is the enemy | |

| Yea, its 50/50 at this point. I guess if the price was right I would do it, but Brad has a point on the bolt patteren.
I probably will just hold off.....

| I think that they would look great with the right color, but The way your car is I love it! From the sound and look still fresh in my mind the only thing that I would do would be to get a set of dog dish hubcaps and put them on the steelies either painted black or white.
That's just me though. I think ss wheels would look sick on a darker box though.

| I think it could be cool, but I think that your car is something more of a sleeper and the SS wheels might detract from that. Just my honest opinion though, it comes down to what YOU want. I think a set of wide black factory looking steel wheels with the aluminum 70s police bowtie caps would look awesome on that car. | |

| For a 5x5 setup I still think the n97's are the best wheels to get based on looks and performance. For the 5x4-3/4 I'd go with any aluminum wheel from the 80's and early 90's based on looks and performance. | |

| I always like the way stock front Iroc wheels look on any 80s GM car. The rears won't work without spacers. |

That's actually a pretty cool look. I saw them on a 79 two door and it looked pretty sweet.
