I'm Back, new car and a heavy heart

So I've spent the last hour or so catching up on the happenings and what not. My condolences for those who've ha to make sacrifices and have lost, and I'm happy for those who've gotten new rides or have just joined the board.

I'll try to keep it brief, So for starters my Apologies for my abscense. Way back at the end of April my friend and I went for a motorcycle ride we were going around a blind turn and met with a car in our lane. I was lucky enough to make it out with a broken collar bone and some road rash my buddy didn't make it. My friends parents decided to give me his car which he cherished and loved.

it's a 1987 924S with 55k it's B-body but I love it all the same.

Hopefully I can make it to one of the next meets.

Damn man, I'm sorry to hear that. You're lucky to be alive but that's got to be hard to deal with knowing the circumstances involved. Was this one of your friends that came to the meet?

I have been thinking about the fall gathering and I'm going over who might attend, I thought of you and remembered I had not seen you on the forum for a while.

Wow man, that's rough, glad to hear you are well. That was very generous of his folks to give you his car, make sure you cherish it. All I have from my best friend who died in an accident is some off the glass from his car in a pendant on my dash.

Damn dude. My condolences to you and all who were affected by that tragedy. That's very sad news indeed. I'm very sorry to hear it.

But I am glad to see you are ok and that your friend can live on in his car at your hands...

All you can do is try to make the best of the situation. Go on with your life and make him proud of all you accomplish.

On a side note, that's way too many bike wrecks this summer for us. Lets make sure nobody else in the club goes for any more bike rides for a while, just in case the whole thing about 3's has some truth to it.
