| So the other day was the delivery of my new 87 caprice classic two door. Just a few details: Been undercoated three or four times...ROCK SOLID floors and frame. The paint is a little faded and there are a few dings and dents, normal old folk driving stuff. Has a little bit of surface rust to be scratched off. NEW 500 mile crate 305 and a rebuilt trans. A- interior, could use floormats and a dashpad, and headliner tightened back up. Not a fan of all the tacks. Did I mention its never been taken out in winter and the body has 60K on it. Once someone shows me how to post pics I'll have some up. Can't wait to rip the emissions crap off | |

That looked like a nice damn car, especially for that asking price! I was going to go look at it myself, but I wasn't sure I felt like selling the '93 at the moment...which I have been considering in order to buy something different. So I told myself it must have been too good to be true (even if it was good, lol). Def. bring that car to Kitty's! Get the damn Rally wheels on there now! haha

| Haha the rallys are DEFINITELY making their way onto this one pronto! Right after I get some more cash lined up for some insurance payments and RMV fees I'm all over it. I hope to get that all sorted out by the end of the week if not next week. Once that's done I'll head to kitty's haha. | |

- THANKS!
My pleasure. If you do make it to Kittys & see a black 96 impala, look for me. My son Matt NEEDS to go to the show every now & then (almost weekly...lol). I live down Rt28 from Kittys past Rt125 just over the town line. We have another somewhat new member from Reading. Real nice guy named Rich, he hasnt really surfaced yet but will. He & his son have 2 B-Bodies in the driveway in process of becoming 1. He's invited me by but I havent made it yet Nice car, I'll be watching for you.

Nice car. The parts car? Good deal, don't junk it because it looked like an 87 just like this one. Theyre the rarest, only 3,110 made the last year of the two door. so get it nice and keep it that way. And thanks to all of you guys. Once its registered ill be down there asap the first chance i get. Thursday right? I'll look for anyone who owns a lovely B body, I love em all. I hope to deal with the RMV either tomorrow or sometime friday...so maybe next week.

It's a little tricky getting in there with all the people, I know the feeling! I also get pissed when some clown with keys on his belt or kids with ice cream run near my car. My car isn't nearly as clean as yours but it still sucks when people get all absent minded. My dad keeps bumping into people he hasn't seen for ages at the shows too when he goes with me. I still want to go to that big one at the Target up in Nashua. Matt, that car looks pretty damn clean. Should polish up nice with a rotary polisher and some careful patience or you could just have it done at a detailing shop.

It might have meant it was made in 86? maybe im not sure, but my 84 said 83 on the door so who knows. Someone could have just swapped the header panel too, never really know. But try to bring it to a luster if its 87, like i said only 3,110 made. There's a big show in Merrimac, MA my mom saw in the paper and told me about. I thought about going but its always conflicting with work for me. It's at a place called Skips, seems like a good time. But this season I might just stick with Kitty's since its so close to me. Hell I really don't care I just want to get the thing out to a cruise already! Thanks Matt! I planned on waxing it but it started to rain and i just gave up and went out for some food, then the sun came out... But I plan on giving it the gold treatment myself and making it shine perfectly.

| Shes on the road guys! Did that today and cruised for about five hours before taking a dip in grandmas pool then cruising again lol. She runs like a boat and needs her tune up pretty badly, but I think I'll hop on down to Kitty's tomorrow...or today whatever you want to call it. I'm not sure if i can schedule wise but I hope to get down there. I'm going to keep it slow until this weekend with the tax free weekend Hope to see you all around, hell maybe ill be able to get to the next mod day too! | |
