So I decided I wasn't going to drive any longer with no ac in the wagon. Went to Wally World and bought a retrofit kit for $30 bucks. Has new o rings, fitting, etc. Got everything installed, sucked down two cans of -134 and the wagon is now so freakin cold I could chill beers on the dash. However, I think it might have a small leak as I now hear a faint hiss near the high side when the car is shut off. I'll have to track it down.

That hiss could be normal. Just the pressures equalizing. All AC systems do that. Hopefully that's all yours is. Smile

Yeah me too. I checked the gauge after the hiss stopped and the level was the same. So I think (hope) you might be right.
