So my morning is off to a great start....walk out to the car and see nice F-ing green
puddle and try to open the hood and SNAP ! the cable breaks at the handle under
the dash.

Is this the cheapest on the net......?

Ask Doug (pooge) if he still has that one he mention on the other forum, other wise you may have to bite the bullet. The ebay unit looks okay but I've never replaced one

There is a '96 Roadie here at the pull a part. Is it the same piece? I'll see if it has one.

I was just there looking at the Roadie as I might pull the engine... The hood latch is there, I tried pulling it, but where it goes into the firewall, i can't get it to come out.

I think I just sent a used one out for about what that price shipped...Spend the $45 total, worth it.

Oh trust me, its not that I don't WANT the LT1. It's that sadly I do not have all the needed funds for it right now. And I doubt he does layaway Laughing

They have two. One is a a '92 with blue/gray cloth, the '96 has gray leather but the seats are gross and the back is all torn up. The 92's are in good shape, just need a good cleaning. He wants $100 for just the fronts.
