Looking for someone who can build a reliable engine, put it in a Z28, and have excellent customer service skills. Anyone come to mind? Looking to upgrade valvetrain, maybe a bottom end refresh (hello 6500 RPM shift!).

Can always go to Golen, but they're iffy when it comes to the quality of their work. At least one guy here has experience with them and may be able to give you some info.

They just build engines, they wouldn't do the cam swap. I've already asked them.

I've used this guy. Been around for years. Clean, professional shop, trustworthy. I don't know about the removal/install though.
