| If I do not find a good body shell for my car for next to nothing, I may do something different. http://www.impalassforum.com/vBulletin/showthread.php?t=233668 |

| I know someone selling an old x-body that an LT1 would drop into very nicely. The original drivetrain could even be pulled out and sold to recoup most of the cost of the car | |

Is'nt an x body a citation, skylark, omega? Those are fwd, and would take to much work for me to get an 8 in them. Besides the pontiac iron puke 4 banger, and the 2.8s are junk, and would not fetch anything. |

| You need to read up some more. And the one I know of is a '74 and already has a V8 in it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_X_platform The perfect car to put an LT1 into and run the doors off at the local strip | |

follow the link I forgot the earlyeir novas were x bodies. I was thinking they were A and G bodies. I would love a car like your wifes, but it is priced about $2000 more than I would be willing to spend for what I am wanting to do. But thank you |

You didn't follow the link did you I'm sure she'd be willing to drop it to $1,500 for ya, or work a trade for that Roadmonster you were peddling on here earlier | |
