Fisher, I was skeptical too, but looks like it's legit! Way to go GM...FINALLY getting back into the cop game for real.

In unrelated new, the junkyard a half mile from my house has a 9C1 Wimpala if anyone has some strange need for anything...

I always said they would be stupid not to produce another 9C1! Espeicially since Ford is out of the Full size cop car market. SWEEEEEEET! The only ques. now is, when is the SS coming?

Ford is not out as far as I know. They still make CVs, but only in P71 police trim.

Although it will suck getting pulled over, I would much rather be pulled over by a Ford or Chevy than a Camry Hybrid of some sort. Have you ever wondered if you would actually pull over for one if something like that happened? I would just drive the speed limit to the police station while on the phone with 911 stating that some wimp was impersonating a police officer.

When I was in NYC, they had a NISSAN ALTIMA NYC police cruiser! What the hell? Nothing against the Altima, but really, I do not consider that to be a vehicle that exudes authority.

I'm glad to see this project got pushed forward, for a while it seemed to be DOA. This still gives us a better chance of having a new RWD Impala or Caprice.

I just realized this car looks EXACTLY like the impala concept car that came out in I think 2007, they were talking about bringing the Impala back to rear wheel drive I just figured it wouldve been scraped along with the 2010 Z28. But maybe not, I think they may do something like the Crown Vic like the Caprice willl be for fleet only (like the CV) and possibly an impala will come out later on for public sales ( like the Grand Marquis/ Town Car)
