What happened with Insurance that this makes sense?

I have basic insurance and the person that hit me has no Insurance.... So they are paying out of their pockets....

I don't even understand how they can not have insurance. You cant even get license plates until you have insurance in Mass. What a sneaky whore.

This makes me sick though. I just junked a perfectly good quarterpanel and bumpercover.

Their insurance got cancelled 4sept.I'm not taking them to court because they do not have anything.. The girl doesn't have a job so if I sue they will probably set up some shitty payment plan and take like 100 yrs to pay me..

Maybe you could sue her for her car.

There has to be something that can be done about this. They were driving a car and hit yours when you were minding their own business. Send their asses to jail, I don't care how hard their life is, they should not be screwing around driving like morons and putting our lives in danger if their lives are really in such dire straits.

Are you sure your insurance plan doesn't have "underinsured auto" coverage at all? Mine has that and I think it might have been part of the compulsory insurance???

Last I knew Doug had a good drivers quarter for a black SS. There are plenty of sources for reasonably priced parts to do the repair.

That is probably true.

The difference between what it's worth As-Is and fixed, is probably way more than it would cost to fix. It would definately be less than $3k.

Everettes junkyard in Brockton has a Cash4Clunker 93 caprice ltz, with a MINT quarter, no rust or anything.. actually if anybody needs parts, the interior is completely removed, but the body is VERY clean! only damage is on drivers front door... color is dggm i believe.. this was as of Monday when I went

Doug's like the local b-body crack dealer. Once you go to him for parts you'll keep going back for stuff you didn't even know you needed. You can't go to a group outing without someone saying I need to get up to his place to pick something up, or a truckload of things in some peoples case. Someday we're all going to have to go to rehab to end our addiction to secondhand Impala parts

Speaking of which, I need to get back up there to get something from him before it rusts away even more

So whats the deal? Complete body? quarter? fill us in, don't need to know prices, but whats the plan?

Yup, Rich will take over my SS. Rich's SS will most likely be used as a donor for interior, axle, suspension, drivetrain, and possible frame (if not damaged) for my box project that will go into effect as soon as Rich and I close the deal
