I'll probably be pulling the ENTIRE drivetrain out of the SS.

welp, between you and Glen needing parts I pretty much have to go, but once again I will have to bring the truck instead of the Impala As usual, my hands will be available for helping on other folks rigs.

sure.
not needed, but i have a seperator if it goes that route, im sure the Bills have them also.
might want to think about shocks and sway bar end links, unless theyve been recently replaced.

What shocks should I get? I would like to get some good ones like bilsteins or whatever will make the car handle better! And how much do swaybar end links go for?


As you can see in my sig, the front sits too high for my liking. Back doesn't bother me much though

not sure on good shocks for SS springs.
im sure somebody can give you part/model #s.
end links are cheap, $15-20 a set or so.
most parts store carry the energy suspension end links for not much more.
if thats the route you go and they dont have the part # for the es links.
have them pull the stock ones and just match the sleeve length.

You could get the Gabriel HD police package shocks at Autozone. Like 20 bucks a piece and lifetime warranty. They are similar to the Bilsteins in performance, but seem to have just a tad less rebound dampening. Otherwise, they were indistinguishable on my wagons.
