started to look into more seriously the last year or so.
from what ive read the quality of brush makes a HUGE difference.

There's nothing like having a new interior in your old vehicle though. Headliner is next, I'll probably just have that done, the board is enormous and one-piece!

I wanted to put grey Bonneville seats in my truck, but since the 2drs use a tilt and fold pass. seat (like the ext. cab) you need a pass. seat that has that tilt and fold feature. The Bonnies will work but then it's a pain to get in the back! I was going to grab a pair of 97 extended cab gray cloth buckets with lumbar for my truck, but then they wouldn't match my rear folding seat...I think I'll look for a nice driver's seat that matches (mine has a couple of old cig burns and looks kind of worn out) or a whole interior from a newer 2dr Tahoe.

Dude... I just saw a pic... It looks nothing like my truck!

Both of us are doing it on the cheap, but two TOTALLY different builds, it seems.

I'll try to find some time to read through it though.

I got the newer interior in mine, so that's a plus! He did a lot of work in his interior... Came out nice. Mine won't be. I'm keeping the rubbah floors, too.

I installed a pair of captain's buckets and console from a 97 2-door 'Hoe this past weekend. Not sure I like them yet. I really wish they were bonnies!!!! I went looking for GP seats, but ended up finding a clean, clunkered Tahoe. Shoulda stuck to my guns.

Crap! I've been looking for new seats for mine, but since it's a 2 door, I would need the rear seat as well so all three match...all I seem to find are Suburban buckets that don't tilt and slide, and don't have a rear seat I can use.

That, and who the hell clunkers a 97 2 door Tahoe? I hope it had blown intake gaskets or something.

Rough year for Crovo with the Imp dying from someone using cheap parts, and then getting called a girlyman by an old guy at the tire store, and now he can't figure out what seat he likes (which gets him so frustrated that he's having trouble communicating)

Did you go completely blind Brad? I do not think you can feel the pics in brail, but if you go back to page 3 and 4 you can try.

Those pics aren't finished yet. He's supposed to be painting signs and pinstriping and such. Paint doesn't dry in the snow so there's only a handful of weekends left to do it.

Working on the graphics. They MAY go on this weekend. Maybe.

Well, I finally got a chance to spend a couple hours and paint the signage on the truck today! HUGE thanks to my brotah-from-anothah-mothah for hooking me up with an easy to use template! Woot!

It was all very simple. I wiped the dust off the truck with a rag. I put on the "less tacky" vinyl that Johnny Boy made for me. I took the tape off that. I masked around it all. I sprayed "Satin Almond" Krylon. Then I used a Duplicolor Truck and Van "Bright Red" that I had on the shelf in some spots. That didn't like the Krylon. Then I used some brown Rustoleum primer in quick, faraway blasts to "weather" it all a bit. I used Krylon Fusion Red on the back over the Almond, cuz I DID want that to stick. I also had to use a heat gun to warm the panels and between coats because it was in the high 40's/low 50's today. Paint didn't exactly want to cooperate! All in all, I'm pretty happy with the way it came out. It's got some goofs on it, which is fine, because I was striving against perfection.

The red I sprayed over the tag line didn't want to adhere to the Almond colored base coat. Works out anyways, because it looks like old vinyl that's peeling off! WIN!

Neither did I. John sent them in the box as a bit of a joke. They made me laugh, so I decided to use them. I figured if I end up not liking it, I can sand it and respray the black easy enough.
