| These cars were sitting in storage for ages in Brookline (MA) http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1645938&fpart=1 I saw this back in about January after seeing some super low mile DCM 9c1 on craigslist and digging for info about it. I eventually found that thread from this one: http://www.9c1.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=173216 While I think it would have been cool to have one of those, a car that sat so long is a liability...that guy who sold the one on craigslist should have posted the dusty "before" pics! I still probably would have grabbed on of the cheaper cars if I had scraped the cash together and knew about them. Pretty interesting and cool story. I wonder if the owner had anything to do with the Larz Anderson MOT or something. | |

| please do, especially if you find the boxes. I love that they had the hood emblem delete.
I probably would have jumped on the 87 had I know about it, one of my LT1s would have solved half of the storage issues...

But he was a doosh. _________________ Bill "The Verb" Crovo - Resident Car Slut & Unicorn Hunter A Toasted Marshmallow, A Long German, A Lame Suburban and expensive dreams... But he was a doosh. I remember seeing the guy that bought the maroon one posting it online here and there, and I'd have to agree with you. The guy only paid like six grand for the car, he should have priced it less. I mean, I'd kill to have something like that...but you know there's going to be problems with dried out seals and such. I wonder what the car actually sold for (didn't he want 15 grand?) If you guys wound up with one of those, would you drive it all the time, or just clean it up and hold onto it to preserve the mileage?

| Personally, I would drive the hell out of the thing. Obviously it would be stored during the winter! | |

| So he never even sold it? What a dumbass. Even if he made a grand off it, it's still worth it. I just wish the original sale was more publicized or something, on a forum like this even. So close, yet so far away..lol
And yeah, I would have driven the car too...just try to keep it in mint condition and it would probably be worth about the same as if it still had a couple hundred miles on it.

| The guys on the ISSF had a few threads going about it. But when the forum crashed last week, all that stuff (along with everything else) was lost. _________________ Bill "The Verb" Crovo - Resident Car Slut & Unicorn Hunter A Toasted Marshmallow, A Long German, A Lame Suburban and expensive dreams...
