| I think my heater core is leaking.. my passenger carpet is all wet. (charged AC) So is it my heater core or something else? if so pooge do you have low mile one for a good price | |

There is a little rubber elbow that can be found by looking under the hood at the lower firewall on the pass side. They are notorius for falling off. When they do the the result is a wet pass carpet. |

| good the rubber elbow was still there. rich. i took the elbow off from my car. and took it down to the hardware store. and got a piece of hose that fit inside of the elbow. and installed it back on. i got enought hose so i ran it off to the side of the frame. | |

| How hard is it to remove the drip box? If it can be done without pulling the heater core you can swing by and swap yours out with mine since I don't use a/c anyway. | |

- Yes, if that nipple that protrudes out the firewall is cracked/broken, It could very well be the cause of your wet carpet. That nipple is part of the lower cover/drip pan to the heater core & A/C under the glove box.
