| Though I would drop a line an let you folks know of an upcoming car show in Standish, Maine on Saturday August 8, 2009. The show attracted about 100 cars last year and hoping to grow. The show is held at the Kiwanis Beach located off Route 25 (Ossipee Trail) in Standish. There is a public beach that will be free all day, raffles, giveaways, food, 50/50 and entertainment. 14 classes with 3 trophies per class. Gate if $5.00 per car with all monies benefiting the Kiwanis scholarsip fund. Check in is between 10am and 12pm, show is from 12 pm to 3 pm and trophies awarded at 4 pm. For all sitll working on their cars there is a work in progress class! Kiwanis is a real nice beach and this could be a great family outing for many. Any questions drop me a line. Larry | |

| Thanks guys! Yes it feels great to be able to drive it somewhat. No long distance trips that's for sure. Still needs a fist full of work before she is complete. Hoping to have the air condition serviced today or tomorrow, front end alingment this coming week. Twelve way seats don't work yet, console needs completion, new ram air hood is at the body shop as I type, hoping this week, need to put front fender wheel well moldings on, front fender 61 Impala SS emblems, need to borrow an engine scan tool so I can find out what code I am showing and a few small items and rebuild the turbo! The wheels is a set that I put together several years ago. Believe it or not all were totaled wheels that I sent to Wheel Wizard, I believe in Ga, where they were redone. These are the 1990 ZR1 wheels that I really like. I did spend a fist full of money on the wheels and tires, but it's what I want. Was so nice to see Tom, Mark, Ron and Larry Jr at the show. Was expecting more cars but I guess there was two other big shows in the area at the same time. That was the second first place trophy in one week! Again, many thanks. Larry | |

| The guy selling the engine and tranny acted as if he and I knew each other all our lives. I met him one other time at a show last year. He was telling me that "those LT1s and trannys are worth big bucks, but he wanted to give someone a great deal for one grand! Hell the pair only had 120K on them. I though Mark was going to jump on that deal! Going to be hot today so I have to figure out what I can accomplish on the Impala today. I am hoping to figure out the seats so I can adjust them. You guys take care. | |

| I don't think I could afford a chrome bumper Vette. Although If I could buy it I'd get rid of those truck tires faster than you could say wheel adapters. That '32 Ford could stand a section and a new frame too. | |
