| Anyone ever sold a car on eBay?
I am debating selling my SS on there. Just curious if anyone had any advice or experience selling on eBay. Anyone ever have a bad experience? | |

| Every single time I lost a car on eBay people bid on them like crazy and when it comes time to pay up they say " oh I didn't realize how far away you are in New England". EVERY TIME!
the only car I successfully sold and got paid for was a 1997 Cadillac deville and he was very unhappy with the purchase when the heads blew after he drove it from Ohio to myrtle beach.
I suggest the eBay classifieds first as a baby step. | |

I suggest the eBay classifieds first as a baby step. The guy who bought the Caddy: did he demand a refund or anything or try to get eBay to give him one? I am really leery of selling on eBay in general. I hear horror stories of deadbeat buyers all the time. I will try the classified part. | |

| The first time I sold a car on there all they did was waste my time. No contact from the buyers, nothing.
About a month ago I sold my Riviera on there, very smooth transaction guy paid me a deposit through Paypal and the rest in cash when he picked it up. | |

| I sold my first caprice on ebay in 2007. Smooth overall, except from the fact the battery was dead when the buyer came to pick it up  Buyer was from PA, he flew into Logan and i picked him up at the local train station and he drove it home. | |
