Spring mod day or cruise?

Want some feed back guys.....

Usually around April I host a mod day at my shop.

Still willing to have you guys up this year, but......

How many people would rather do a legit cruise?
Meet at one location and drive to a second maybe third?
I'm not opposed to any suggestions on routes or destination.


Let's get this discusses going

I'm down for either/or.

I'm in for a mod day. But it'd probably be lowering the 'burb...

Maybe Nubble Lighthouse or something like that, and also your shop as part of the cruise...maybe a restaurant thrown in?

A cruise with a couple destinations would be pretty cool.

We, as a club since I've been here, havent done much of that. Just cruising to newicks and ice cream run after newicks.

I agree with Brian, hopefully all the snow will be melted by then . I got a good 4 feet plus in my front and back yard. Look forward to warmer weather looking at nice cars again!

Gather at the shop and we cruise out to Furches shop?

Meet the western guys in Sturbridge or Worcester area and cruise from there to the shop, BS for a bit and cruise after.

I'm digging a cruise idea. For once I don't have a laundry list of shit that the wagon needs. Hell, this is if the wagon is even running by April...

I would go to watch Crovo lower the burb.

I'd like a beer while I watch. It's been years since I last had one.

I love a parade, and would try to make it;
But there is something about shooting the bull with a wrench in one hand and a beverage in the other...

I have a lot to learn from watching..er..helping someone who knows what they're doing to a car similar to mine;
and the offer of access to a lift is a generous gift not to be taken lightly (give thanks and praise).
I don't think I have ever seen the bottom of my car, 'cept laying on my back praying the jack-stands hold .

I'll be watching for a date, and thankful for an invitation whatever you decide.

Been a busy month for me ... So have not put much thought into it, plus my cars are still buried.... Will have a solid date by the end of month

I'm probably in for whatever. Maybe I'll bring the Marshmallow. Depends on what we do...

Either way I'm looking forward to doing something with you guys...it'll be nice to experience the nice weather again (someday) and do stuff with cahs!

Apparently that fitchburg airfield car show is the same day...I suppose this could either detract or augment the mod day...Lol

Me too.

I could probably make that date (except for that thing that comes up at the last minute, whatever it is this time, story of my life).
I wouldn't be planning any major projects, so garage hang out, and/or cruise would be great.
If there is an open lift for a few minutes, I might like to lift the car just to get a good look underneath, poke the rust with a stick, mebee take some pictures, plan for mods I'll probably never get around to doing.
I do have a couple of things under my hood that confuse me, and I'd probably ask opinions of folks with more B-Body expertise.
Mostly, just ready to get out on the road, burn some gas, leak some oil, and meet the like minded.

I'm in, I'll have to get the day off work. Wonder if I can get the C10 swapped and running by then..(yea right)

99 percent sure I will be dragging along the 74 Impala...95 Impala if it rains...I'll be going to that early fitchburg show and swap meet beforehand if it's super nice out

Snow covered my car again Thursday and had me doubtful, but it is dug out now.
I won't have time to make it pretty (or even put the back seat in), but if you guys are still on, I'll drive down and join you.

So if we are doing the mod day, I've got quite the laundry list for the marshmallow this year. I was thinking if we could get a group together, we might be able to knock out the whole thing. I will be doing the c5 Vette front brake upgrade with spindles and 13 inch rotors, whole front suspension rebuild kit, front and rear shocks, and rear Panther sway bar. Who's in?

I have some experience with the rear sway bar.

You must've really missed the Marshmallow because I was getting all ready to lower a burb

I could also be persudaded to lower the burb. I'd have to order the spindles today though!

Sure! I put one on my Olds about a week after purchasing the car, I was getting seasick driving around with no rear bar.

I'm not ready to do mine this weekend, but if anyone else does one, I'd love to watch help.

My wagon gets a butt lift this summer.  I have the springs, shocks, and the new hitch is on the way.  I'm sorting through the opinions on wagon bars and the Panther mod seems most popular.  I want to wait and do it all at once.

Depending on when it is.....Bill I would be happy to help you with the front brake upgrade. An since we live 5 miles apart just let me know if you are going to tackle this at your house or my lift-less shop.

I went to the mod day last year and have been lurking around here from time to time all year. It might be common knowledge but I don't remember where the shop is and would need to know that so I can stop in again, Might bring a second SS from down the street too.

It's been crazy at the shop this year, my boss has been sick , plus detail season has kicked in full force

I need to hem a few things out for sunday, I will post full details on saturday.

I'm down for BS and a cruise. So long as I can get those 2 tires mounted.

I want to replace my fuel filter there too. You'll understand when you see it.

I won't be doing the brakes, don't have all the parts I thought...

I'll probably do the sway bar at the very least. More BS time.

I'm for sure going to the Fitchburg show earlier in the morning...it's supposed to be nice and its rained the last few years. Probably be heading out of there mid morning [it's an early show/swap] and then over to the mod day...Kehd

I'll probably drive Matts car as its the only B sitting at ground level right now.

I'll try to stay until Trakker shows up but....

Doubt I'll join a cruise because I have to many things to do.
