I've wondered if those van wheels would fit a B-body, I like them for some sick reason

lol, van
So basically, the story with this thing is the guy I work with always bought Astro vans because they are in many ways superior to a full sized van for work as far as usability and especially gas mileage is concerned. An Astro is/was basically a unibody van using the front half of a B-body frame as a "subframe". To me I always considered them almost like a truck more than a minivan.
This one was/is getting long in the tooth for being a business vehicle so I found an 2500 Express passenger van with 50K on it, that is the new work vehicle, and I was offered this one if I wanted it...so I took it. The van is in surprisingly good condition considering it has almost 260K miles on it and is a New England vehicle since new.
The guy fanatically maintained it since he's had it and it shows, has a couple rust spots starting but nothing major. The bumpers are rusted under the plastic bumper covers. It's not like I really care anyway, would you? lol.
I'll probably just drive it for work to keep miles off my other crapboxes. It does run good and is reliable...it has an issue with the trans where on long drives (couple hours) it will start to bang into gear when you pull away from a stoplight (you shut the van off and restart to make it forget it's being retahdid), it seemed to have an intake leak externally (the heads and intake were redone at like 130K or so), some kind of an oil leak, and the AC doesn't work. Whateva!
If it lasts me a while I might consider having an LS swap or an LT1 swap done on the thing and continuing to use it as a work van after that, there are plenty of them out there with v8 swaps, but you kind of need a lift and a shop to do that, lol.
I was kinda surprised how cool it looked with the Rallys swapped over, I got compliments already from people on the way to work oddly enough. The guy who had it gave me a ration of shet, kehd, over it though, and said I made it look like "the god damned Mystery Machine..."

The rims and tiyahs do it. It was invisible before.
Those rims work on everything!

Hey look, your stock wheels on a B-body http://burlington.craigslist.org/cto/4660645110.html
When i saw the thread title, I was expecting something different...
in 2010 i flew out to Milwaukee with my wife and two friends for a get together with another forum i belong to. we rented a mini van and when we went to pick it up, it ended up being a white van with MA plates...PERFECT!! i picked up some washable spray paint and some masking tape... Drove this around the city for 4 days...
