| Hey Guys, So as some of you may know, I put that 95 MAB Washington State 9C1 that I'd forgotten about and had parked for the past year and a half back together and on the road. That poor, neglected car has been totally ignored since I took it off the trailer in Novermber '12. Any time I went to start it, it started. EVERY time. And I never once disconnected the battery or had to jump start it. Sometimes it sat for more than 6 months! AC blows nice and cold after a charge, too! How can I NOT drive the most reliable car in my possession? Anyways, here's some before and after action: What a difference the early tails and a wide set of wheels and tires can make, huh? Oh, and that 79 Z28 scoop is totally hacked on there, but I didn't damage the hood. I was covering a spot where the paint had lifted off... And for the record, you CAN fit 275/60's all around on 15x8's with 3.75" BS on a stock height 9C1. It's the right color. There isn't a straight panel on it. It needs so much work... I think it looks so tough and badass like it is, that I don't even want to lower it! Say it ain't so! I've got a set of charcoal leather bonnies and an S10 console that I'll throw in it... And drive it forever. Or not. _________________ Bill "The Verb" Crovo - Resident Car Slut & Unicorn Hunter A Toasted Marshmallow, A Long German, A Lame Suburban and expensive dreams... Tom I did, actually! Thanks for the heads-up! And I got them via a delivery chain within the club. I love this place. Thanks Big Paulie and Al for getting them to me! _________________ Bill "The Verb" Crovo - Resident Car Slut & Unicorn Hunter A Toasted Marshmallow, A Long German, A Lame Suburban and expensive dreams... | It's amazing what a good washing can do. I've given some of my most hopeless looking junkers a power washing (best tool ever invented) and they looked great! | |
