| Where's the poll buttons? I also was thinking lemons. That's that most you can pay for a Lemons car. According to the rules: "five hundred dollars means five hundred frickin' dollars." You will have to take the new heater stuff back out. | |

Oh, I WILL WIN this battle. No piece of shit german car is going to beat me! .... You may win a battle, but the war will never end..... I hate every 3 and 5 series I see at my shop. Sure brakes are easy and every thing on top or in front the motor are not bad. They all have valve cover gasket leaks, and ten to one if it's high mileage, I'm willing to bet the car is going to need control arms....... .... but Im just a detailer right? so what do I know...... .....Ya win some ya lose some.......

| So I've spent a few hours today and got it all back together! EFF YAH!!! So far, so good. No leaks! Now I gotta get the AC charged now. Car runs good and drives nice! Sounds pretty good with whatever exhaust is on there, too! I need to adjust the e-brake also. To pull it enough to engage, it pops the boot out of the console. Doh! I gotta figure out how to change the climate control to English? It's in Metric now. The air bag light is on, but the bags are plugged in. I'm also getting a CEL, fuel trim lean or something. I'll have to scan it again to get the exact issue. Also getting a brake warning light on the OBC. "1 brake light failure" or something like that. I'll need to look into it. Yeah, yeah... I know. It's a turd. So I'm going to take it to work tomorrow! Wish me luck! And here's some pics for proof. Not like you guys have never seen tan E36 guts... Pretty stoked to be driving it now! In fact, I think I'll go take it out for a spin, now. | |

Look at the the parking brake cables at the rear control arms, If there is a Kink in them then they are junk. I just did a set in one of those. The cables were not cheap.( We got them from BMW ). Also there is no way your replacing them with out a lift. If you pull the boot from the handle, there are two 10mm nuts you can try to tighten to get some grab out of them, but when I did this to one I swapped cables in it would only hold once or twice. I kept adjusting them but no luck, so it got new ones.
