I (like many of us) have always had a winter turd, and when I was younger I was lucky to get a whole winter out of the poor car.
The ones that did survive, were often subject to the "Spring rally" at my friends house. He has a lot of property, with a fire road,
and logging trails. We were lucky sometimes for a car to last a little more than 10 minutes!
This was at the end of the day, when we were jumping cars OVER the dead Monte (look to the left). Good times, gooood times

Yup that's me, rocking the old white "high-tops"
There may have been a few adult beverages consumed that day....
I can remember a few rides/drives that I laughed so much my sides hurt the next day!
There was a Dodge Shadow (little Fwd turd) that only lasted 1 min, hit a jump, landed on a stump, and ripped the valve-body right off
the bottom of the auto trans!

Yup, I remember these times, but they where never my cars. Just last year my buddy had a winter beater and it made all it all winter, so he set up a track on his uncles farm, with jumps, and a station for "refills", closed course...obviously.
Ive only had a couple turds in my day, both where 90s Silverado pickups...bought each for a grand, ran all winter, and sold for a grand...I often feel like I missed out on something...

Hahaha, nevermind the high tops (Ah those a payah a'CONS sneakahs, Al?) I dig that flame shirt the guy has on in the picture, I a'membah those! Time flies.
Al and company would have fit right in at this crazy place that used to be on 114 in Danvers (I think)...I used to see these exact trucks back when I first had my license and would head to the cruise night there...I think the place burned down not long after these videos were made...

I use to work with the turd killer and the the guy who owed the property..... heard all kinds of crazy questionable activity's went down there ..... or "up" in some incidents.
the bad news is the owner switch to the BLUE side of the law, good news is he is lurking the western NH woods in a new PPV
