| Looking to sell the motor and trans or either out of my 96 Roadmaster that I drive daily. I put 30k miles on it myself over the past year and a half. All I have done are plugs and a thermostat in those 30k miles.
Unfortunately the car was the victim of two bonehead drivers. One hit and ran after rear ending me at highway speeds so the right rear quarter has a half ass fiberglass fix. The left rear passengers door is also no good but still opens and closes. Other than that it is a loaded, rust free, 79k mile, 96 roadmaster limited. I say its loaded because this roadie has more options on it than any others ive seen/owned. It has twilight sentinel, auto dimming mirror, heated leather, cd/cassette radio, had the trunk pull down like the fleetwoods but it doesnt work since being rear ended. It would be a fantastic car to part out and if I had the space and tools that is exactly what I would do.
The engine does have a small oil leak, the water pump leaks (but I have a 50k mile water pump I stripped off a buddy's firebird that I will include), and I think the optispark needs replacing. It may just need wires or the egr tube might be clogged. I've got a spare EGR tube but have not bothered to see if that's the issue as the car runs fine for daily driving. The car runs fantastic and I do drive it everyday. I think it needs an opti because it's a little hard to start in the morning and it seems to be slightly low on power.
The transmission is perfect.
I already have offered Crovo the right to first refusal but I have another B-Body lined up to buy so if Crovo is not interested I would like to sell ASAP. I would like 800obo on the motor, 1100obo for the trans and motor, or 1400obo for the whole car. I believe the motor and trans are priced right based on what I see on eBay and craigslist. I am just adding the 300 the junk yard is willing to pay on top of that for the full body/interior. If these prices do not seem right feel free to let me know guys. Remember the car has low miles and you can come drive the car to see exactly how the motor and trans react as I drive it daily. Also since I drive it daily I can deliver the car as long as the purchaser is willing to give me a ride home.
Also if there is another member who doesn't mind the bluesmobile look I would suggest keeping it as a daily driver/winter beater. If I didn't also have a firebird lt1 and an f350 this would be my top choice. I am not going to post pictures unless someone is seriously interested because the car is so beat up on the outside.
I will be more than happy to help with a motor/trans pull but you must have a place to do it and if you do not buy the body too must be willing to have a local scrap yard pick the car up.
I have tried to explain everything to the best of my ability. If there are any questions feel free to call (don't text me it's gay) or post/pm on here.

| Jackson is a great guy to deal with. I saw the car, definitely low miles and solid but the dents are ugly. GLWS. | |

| Thanks for the kind words Bill! In your opinion are these prices reasonable?
The interior is dark blue.
Again if anyone is seriously interested I will not be offended by any offers.

| I'm guessing you didn't read my post if your asking that. The answer is, it depends, so bite the bullet and read the book I wrote above lol. It should answer all of your questions...... That's why the post was so long in the first place. | |

| If your actually interested I'll try to figure it out. I hate electronics(cameras) and computers are only good for cars and titties. So if your a potential buyer I'll try to borrow a camera( I like the disposable kind) and have my girlfriend post them. In the mean time picture the bluesmobile with more damage on the right rear fender lol.
Seriously though I have a 40k mile caprice tow pack on the hook for a decent price so if anyone is really interested i will post picks. Also any offers considered as I would love to move it ASAP.

| So someone was nice enough to let me know that the engine is worth about 500. So 500obo on the engine.
If anyone wants the motor for that and can pull it it's theirs.

| My stepfather might be interested in the engine for his 96 Fleetwood. We swapped in an engine already but it has somewhat low compression, and a cyl. 1 misfire that will NOT go away. Blinking CEL and runs like sh@t. I'll talk to him this weekend to see if he's interested. | |
