Quick question on egr valve 94 lt1

Subject: Quick question on egr valve 94 lt1 Fri Nov 23, 2012 7:03 pm

Looking to install headers in the ole wagon. I'm gonna run long tubes with o2 bung's welded to the collectors.
Im deleting the a/c and if necessary I'll notch the frame. My question and focus now are on the egr valve. Can I just delete it and block it off and still have the engine run right?

Not concerned with check engine light. I know it has to be tuned out. I'm just worried the engine will run like garbage.
Not concerned with cats either because they probably Aren't going back in.

Running Matts 95 with EGR deleted ...no problem

No tune steve? Any engine lights?

No tune....had a cel once....went off right away.
Didnt check with the scanner but probably egr related.
Been running it for 6Weeks
