Its Alive. Sort of

The 77 Impala is alive. It runs like total crap. But it runs. Its not running on all 8 cylinders and it wont stay running without giving it some gas, but it started and ran and did not blow up or catch on fire. No blown fuses, no weird sparks. Just runs like poo. I should have followed my gut and replaced the plugs, wires and perhaps the opti while I had the body off. But I tried to save a buck (or 400) and now I have to do it the hard way. Plus I also need to find a way to get rid of 20 gallons of 5 year old bad gas.

I got it running. I dropped the tank removed all the gas, and replaced it with some fresh stuff. It still would not stay running. Turns out I made a stupid rookie mistake. I was trying to run it with the wrong PCM. I used the PCM out of the 95 9C1 I got the frame from. Opps. After I discovered my stupid mistake it started right up and ran. Still has a skip though. Next step is plugs and wires.
