well busted knuckles all night, chasing this re-doing that and still couldn't make her run right, tried again early this morning, but the stubborn b*tch doesnt want to stay idiling. If I dropped her in gear and just went for it with out stopping the whole way then she'll make it no problem, second the rpms drop she dies out.
so I will not make it today, I could take the "pumpkin" but that is one looooooong drive in a turd.

Got home about 7:30 last night. Missed the exit for 495. Ended up driving thru Boston to pick up the pike. Then got stuck in wicked traffic between Worcester and I-84 thanks to all the tri staters going home (no offense Dave, Lynol. ) Then got stuck in traffic in town after a Crown Vic t-boned a Deville. FD was cutting the roof off the Deville as I was driving past.
Anywho... It was great to see everyone again, I took a few pictures too:

Got home around 10:00, no thanks to all those massholes driving into each other causing traffic jams stopping us tri-staters
I did get to stop at Roy Rogers, so all was good

I see my Roadmaster made it back to this coast. I knew as soon as he got it home it started overheating (which it NEVER did on me and I had taken it to Ikea and back a week before and drove into Boston and back that day with him without issue...)
I'm wondering if the heatercore blew up because he said it was leaking into the passenger footwell again and I had fixed the initial causes (missing AC Drain this year, split in one of the firewall seams last year) and had washed it twice and driven it in the rain and put the AC on all the time post-fix with no issues before he came to get it.
