| i was replacing a fuse on my viper remote start/alarm and i saw a few wires wrapped around a box i had never noticed before so i pulled it down and followed the wires and theres another box with a 3 position switch under the little removable tray next to the ashtray took the numbers off of it and looked it up online its a B&M ShiftPlus electronic Shift Improver. Has anyone ever used one of these things? its seems to be a 50/50 online for reviews some say its great others blame it for trans problems....... thanks in advance | |

Never seen one, but have to guess that all it's really doing in upping the line pressure. The same can be done with an ECM reprogram. As far as hurting a trans, doubt it. Raising the line pressure will put more of a shock on the hard parts, but the clutches and band will live longer. I will also lower trans temps due to less slipping. | |
