| Ive had a wobbling noise for a little while coming from the front passenger side, and yesterday a metallic clanging noise started. So, today after I got a little freaked out, I put it up on jack stands and took off the wheel. I found that when I wiggled the rotor, while the tie rods moved, the pitman arm moved in an up and down motion. I'm sure that is not its intended design. Also, when I took the dust cap off the hub, I found what is in the picture below. A Z shaped "cotter" pin was jammed through the hole in the spindle. Not only that, but the castle nut was soo loose, that when I turned it down snug enough for it not to move, but also not to bind, it went about 1/8 inch tighter. So, next time a car is for sale, and it says "new brakes", I'll be sure to double check the work. My fault for not looking before I had a problem this week. But shame on the person who did the work. Anyway. Ive been hoarding over $500 in Moog heavy duty front end parts. Time to get out the tools. New brakes are coming now since Im having to hang on to the car. Maybe after that I can use the L99 as a salt water boat anchor and swap in an LT1. Well, wishful thinking, but as anyone else here. Gotta free up some cash. | |

| Outragis or nick ragis
He sold an olds two door with a gas motor swapped in place of a diesel too. I bet that had just as many problems. Guys like that are the reason why tccoa.com doesn't let new members post in "market place" and are extremely tight on selling stuff.

Great for vehicle storage... Not so much for working on cars, buy it can be done. I just don't suggest it lol

Easy, just cut a hole to the first floor. As much as I would love that, something about a hole in the floor screams unsafe. I wouldn't care about the house, I just don't want to hurt my cars if the house comes down on them!
