| Let's say I had a 95 Impala kicking around...Runs and drives, but prob needs a trans. Very rusty underneath and beat up, but solid enough for one last run...
You guys interested in finding a trans and some time to build a Badass of NE Lemons car?

Good to hear, I was curious how they would hold up to the constant running. Lord knows I have lots of spare radiators and ish for it... Doug _________________ 1996 Impala SS - 45K original miles - 5.3 LS swap - Brand new Bilsteins...WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

And most other vehicles entered. yeah, but with cheater Miatas, you can go for distance and style. I hate Miatas. I had to park one at work and I muffintopped onto the center console. I ah....dont I Ripped around town in(a built) one the other day, the only things I hated about it 1. Death trap 2. looking like a douchebag driving it 3. Having wayyyyy to much fun in jap-scrap

Doug Would a 305 car hold up better or worse than an LT1? or are they comparable, besides the obvious power difference.

| Few problems with B-Bodies:
Expensive to run because they drink tons of gas and destroys tires and brakes.
Your weak point is the transmission. You'll need to figure out some way to keep it cool, and the ones that were successful this weekend used slightly strengthened trans.
With that said, they can be very competitive but typically the smaller, lighter cars do better in lemons.
I plan on campaigning something in Lemons in 2012. Whether that's here in Chicago, or back in New England, I'm not sure. I've actually got a line on a Lemons Ready Rolling Chassis of a 94' wagon.
Best of luck on the project, and I'll be very interested to see progress.

My mother once said she wanted to get one to keep in the trunk as a spare car.

| I'd really love to, it'd be totally awesome! But I can't afford the time and monetary commitment this year. I will go to the race to cheer you on though!
