Lets stay on track this time. What can I expect to pay? I've been quoted from $800, to rebuild, to $1400 to r and r with a reman and tc. Id really like to get it rebuilt. Haven't been to have it actually looked at. Not until Tuesday when I'm off work. It shutters from second and moans to third. There's enough fluid, no metal flakes, smells a little burnt. No leaks either. Remember, it has an external cooler Al, what would you charge? What can I do to beef it up within reasonable dollars and cents?

When it comes time to shuttle it up north keep me in mind. I'm in Revere every weekday

....I wouldnt be to overly concerned with what Al charges ( understand your not a millionaire).... but he does have great rates compared to all the tranny shops out there ( no sales tax!)....it's his quality of work and guarantee of a job done right and getting what you truely paid for that makes me bring my stuff to him. he wont dick you around or sell you something you don't need....plus money in a members pocket is always better than giving to some one you dont know or trust.
