Speaking of missing members in this thread. I noticed Grumpy last logged in on the 28th. Its weird. The last time I saw him at a meet, was like, a year ago. He was gonna buy something from me. Got in his wagon and just drove off scratch scratch. hasnt said a word here lately. This place certainly has changed since I first joined, but not in a bad way, its just...fun to be a part of.

So, there's his phone number if any of you want it... sounds like a real character

Suffice to say, he says he JUST GOT IT... so I'm curious why he's trying to flip it...

The capital "CALL" in the ad suggests it, but if he's really that averse to an e-mail he should have hidden the e-mail address.

The phone number is Bayview Auto Recycling in Gloucester.

exactly. he should have hidden the email and put 'phone calls only' if it makes him so angry to have to check his email.

it was a reasonable suggestion for the whole t56 setup. I just have zero interest in it. I'd want the car itself.

The transmission, bell housing, clutch components, kit to install said transmission, programmed pcm, and driveshaft far exceed the cost of admission

I can't verify ANYTHING here, but I've heard sketchy things about that junkyard...not sure how true they are but just a warning. I do know that it's in a strange place, off this dirt road like out in the middle of nowhere and you'd never find if you weren't from the area, lol. I could tell from the pics that's where the car was at, he sells/posts lots of things on CL.

If I had the money and room, I would buy that car. Looks like a 2500 dollar car, tops.

The transmission, bell housing, clutch components, kit to install said transmission, programmed pcm, and driveshaft far exceed the cost of admission

The 10 posts above yours are about the same car. It's a rotted pile of junk appearently.
But at $1800, worth almost every dime in parts. And your not a ...... Whatever that guy called you.

Almost sounds like that guy needs a "tune up" I have a lot of pent up aggression, so volunteer my services if it ever comes to that. Like a Star @ heaven .

Without seeing it, who knows how the pedals and shit are made, could be a wasted crap job. If its done right, its worth that, but if its a hack job, i wouldn't pay half that price.
