For sale: 95 1A2 wagon

This is not a joke or a whim. This is the real deal. I keep thinking of selling it. I just have no intrest in it anymore. So, the wagon is now for sale. If it does not sell here, the wagon forum, or the ISSF, it will go on craigs list.

1995 DGGM with tan guts Caprice 1A2 Special Service Police wagon (1 of 154 built in 95, and 1 of 1 in DGGM)
151K on it currently
After digging for history, I discovered the car was set up for accident scene investigations on the NY Thruway from 95-03 when it was sold via auction to Craig Jasmin of Key motors. He then custom built the car for pauls step father who I purchased it from.

*****What the car needs or is negative about it that I am aware of*****
upper control arm bushings (have them, just not installed)
ebrake inop
crusty underneath
one rust hole on drivers floor board by feet area
paint good, but peeling on one or two door handles
hood is paint chipped and black in color and no match for the rest of the car
head liner has a couple small holes
engine has slight leak at front main seal
pass side valve cover has excessive oil on it due to leaky gasket
dent in drivers rear door
scratches in paint
ticket light inop
drivers window motor is tired.

This car dead on reliable. I would not hesitate to fill the tank right now and drive it anywhere that tank of gas will take me.
The car has only been down a drag strip three times that I am aware of.

Many spare parts well.

First of all. I would never drive a escort. Unless I could take it off some "REALLY" sweet jumps. Second of all, I have been torn between selling and keeping in the past. I think about selling it more than driving it. I just have no intrest in it anymore. I figure so many people are interested in it, that it would go to a good home. I just have no intrest. And the fact I do not want to drive it in the winter. The other side of the coin is I can not afford to maintain a 15 year old car. I just cant. I am broke, and just need the money from the sale. If it don't sell soon, I will start to part it out. Either way, it is gone.

Am I just asking too much? I know we are close to the holidays, but maybe 3k is too much. I figure it is right in line with the value of the car for the condition, miles, and mods.

Personally, for what you have into the car i'd say its "reasonable". As I said before if I had the $$ I'd be on it like stink on dog doo but my school does their refunds twice a year and I won't see mine til March . That said, I would say with the holidays coupled with the economy its probably a tight time to sell/buy a car. But what do I know?

Id like to say i got screwed over on this deal. Bill M said on here first one with cash in hand gets his wagon. I called him and asked if he could hold it for a few days he told me no. So i did what I had to do and sold my Z28 just a half hour ago for A LOT less than I wanted to so I could go to his place at 9AM tomorrow with $2000.00 CASH to buy his wagon. The deal was made and I had made my plans. So then he TEXTS me and says oh sorry someone paypal me a few hundred so you cant buy it now. WTF? So now I just sold my car for next to nothing. So much for first come first serve. Worst business ever. Bill M supposedly has bills to pay. I have 2g's cash right in front of me for his bills. But no, he is going to hold the car for someone else after he clearly told all of us the first 1 with 2 g at his door takes the keys. I highly doubt he's getting that 2g before 9am tomorrow. Then he brings up the point that I have "plenty of cars". Whos business is that? Certainly not anyone on here that's for damn sure. Thanks a lot. What to say? I had payment before you called me three times. I just did not know it. I checked my email to find a deposite had been made. I had talked to the person earlier in the night, and did not realize payment would be made tonight. You called me and told me you already had the money, So I agreed to sell it to you not knowing payment had been made. When I found out, I told you that it had been made, and you procceded to text me 20+times all pissed off. While I understand, it is what it is.
I do not even want to sell, but am forced into this. So I really don't care where it goes, it just has to go. Nothing shady. It was a missunderstanding that you are blowing way out of proportion. You already had the car sold and money in hand before I agreed to anything, so don't start throwing crap around.

I asked you to hold the car you said; "Whoever comes to my house with the $2000 takes the car". I would have sent you the $2000 in FULL to your paypal right then and there if it was like that! Deposit or not you told me you WOULD NOT HOLD THE CAR and it was sold to me if I came with the money.
