Injector diffrences

So I posted this on the national forum, but got no reply
I was looking at two sets of injectors today, and noticed the one set had a white ring, which I am familiar with. But also has a large section of the body of it is metal. About half.
The other set has a black ring, and only about 1/4 of the body is metal.
My question is. Are they the same size and just different years? Both sets came off 94-95 b-body LT1s.
