| I just went to look at a blazer on the way back from the hospital, and i pull in the yard, and there is it. A 88-89 4 door boxy. ON TRACKS!!!!!!
lol. I didn't get a pic as i didn't have my phone, only day i forgot it.
This thing had skis on the front, and actual tracks on the rear. It was the damnest thing i'd every seen. I told him i want the nose if he ever sells it for my 2 door. He said i could buy it if i wanted it. Nothing i want. lol. I'll try to stop to get pics another day.
He also had a 2 door parisiane pontiac.

| Seriously though, I would love to see some semi detailed pics of what he did to mount the front skis. I would also love to see what he is using for tracks in the rear, I assume the same ATV style track systems used on ATV and side-by-side machines.
It brings up the idea of a very cheap, very noticeable "billboard" to put in front of my store.

| I can top those ski stories: In 1976 to 78 I worked in Alaska in Prudoe Bay on the Alaskan Pipeline Project. I am an electrician. We were flown in and out every 3 or 4 months, on the "BP Charter" which was a Boeing 737. They didn't have a paved tarmack. What they had was a gravel strip where the jets would land. No a whole lot traffic, maybe twice a day.
Anyways, the jets had the regular wheels, but in the front where there are the 2 wheels, there were also heavy duty ski's on either side. I do have pictures.

That just seems like an interesting sight. Was it any different landing with them?
