I saw it like 9-10 years ago in NYC. It was pretty good. I enjoyed it.

You suppose to send your mom, wife, girlfriend (or both if your brave) and you stay home.

At least if you bring your Mom, you dont have to hide your tears at the sad part ... I think I've been to 2 Broadway productions Miss Saigon & Riverdance Wasnt thrilled at the opportunity but ....when in NY I actually enjoyed both I just wished I could have been like that Bud Light commercail where they smuggled in beers

I am a big Blueman Group fan. I have seen them a couple times at the Charles Play House.
But to keep this on topic http://disney.go.com/theatre/TheLionKing/#/home/
Bill Take your mom. It will be something you both can enjoy.

If you guys haven't been - go.
It was really really good. Granted the Lion King is one my favorite movies.... But I really think the show was incredible from start to finish.

Yeah, Broadway usually is.
Glad you had a good time.
We saw "Young Frankenstein" a few months ago in Boston and it was AWESOME!

My sister is a theater Major--shes the star of the family where as I'm the greasy one lol--so I know a few shows. She thinks the Lion King is awesome she also would probably suggest these for a "mom date" to a play
-Guys and Dolls -Wicked -Anything goes
And like Brad said Avenue Q, but I've heard her soundtrack to that show...don't bring mom to it lol

I took Laura and my mother to see Avenue Q. My mother actually loved it and wants to see it again some time. She was pissed that I didn't let her buy the soundtrack on the way out
